A Bake Sale & The Campus Antiwar Network Conference
(from l. to r.) Leia, Jonah, Ellen, Dean, Lisa L.
It was a relatively light showing that Wednesday as I had stuck around for the meeting
which was suppose to be from 3:30 p.m. until approximately 5:30 p.m. (a two hour wait
for this diligent B.C.A.W.er) It was all business once everyone piled in though one-by-one, we
had a list of issues to discuss ranging from:
- The Campus Antiwar Network Conference
- Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week
- A tabling event on October 15th
Over the course of the next two hours, the B.C.A.W.ers talked about a range of issues
from how to counter-act Islamo-fascism awareness week led by the insufferable David
Horowitz to the quickly approaching Campus Antiwar Network conference. Myself and Ellen
were both eager to go to the C.A.N. Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, but the question of
funding came up. Exactly, how to raise it. A bake sale was proposed, tasks were assigned, and
B.C.A.W. was propelled head first to its first bake sale ever.
